“Women’s Day Special: The Success Secrets of Insightful Entrepreneurs”

Awe-inspiring careers are no longer passed down or handed over - since generations. They must be seeded, nurtured and grown—and you are the gardener! When women take authority of fulfilling their dreams, when they take ownership of their achievements, growth and ambition, even sky is no limit to what they can follow through.

On this Women’s Day we salute the spirit of womanhood and pay tribute to some of the most successful women entrepreneurs who have proved that women can definitely make a difference and influence people. Let’s take a look at some successful business women who are breaking new grounds in the corporate world with their simple yet unique ideologies:

Katie Rae: “Be a Deep listener” Katie is currently the managing director of TechStarts Boston and was also the founder of Project 11. She was named as one of the most creative people in 2013 by Fast Company. She gives importance to “deep listening” because it helps us understand what’s going on.

Happy Women's Day

Anne Fulenwider: “Sometimes you need to just go with your gut” Anne is the editor-in-chief of Marie Claire. She faced some critical conditions and was not able to make decisions due to lack of self-belief but, as time passed she realized that it depends on what we are feeling at that moment. The longer we believe in our guts, the more confident we get and there comes a time when we start giving advice like “just go with your gut”.

Rachel Sklar: “Pay attention to what you are doing wrong” Rachel is the founder of Change - The Ratio and The Li.st. She believes in paying attention to what we are doing wrong and if not, we are not evolving and learning. No one is a born leader and we all have to develop the leader inside us and “paying attention” is the best way to do it.

Danae Ringlemann: “Be your authentic self” Danae is the co-founder and CDO of Indiegogo. She believes in being herself completely. In her changing roles at Indiegogo she learnt that being a leader is being actual self, and it has nothing to do with title or position.

Monif Clarke: “Ask questions” Monif is the founder and CEO of Monif C. Plus Sizes. She had a great year in 2013 but, after a while she noticed that her team was always down in work and were not into speaking up much. She decided to ask questions from her team to improve the company growth and making her team’s job easier. And now she inspires people as a perfect leader.

These women are not only great business leaders but also inspiration for thousands. They have proved to the world that even women can compete with men and eventually get ahead of them. We salute the hard work and determination of these women.

Happy Women’s Day…!!
