The 9 Best Business Minded Movies to Watch
It doesn’t matter if you work for yourself or for another person, watching a movie is always a great way to get tips and learn about business and how business works. Some are serious, some are funny, some are just plain downright crude.
The Godfather. This was a movie about money, business, mafia and food! But, it’s definitely one of the top movies as far as business goes and it’s always fun to watch.
Wall Street. If you want to know about stocks, Wall Street is a superb movie to watch. It also includes insider trading and shows why greed is one of the worst things in the world to go after.
The Game. Michael Douglas plays a really wealthy banker in this movie. The movie has a lot of moral transitions between right and wrong and good and bad.
Boiler Room. Another movie dealing with greed, morality and legal issues. A worth watching movie focused on brokers.
Jerry Maguire. Even if you cannot stand Tom Cruise, this is a great movie to watch if you want to learn more about sports trading; how it works, the best options for you and in the end, what is more important; money or love.
Office Space. If you are one of the many people with a desk job in the corporate world, this movie is going to have a lot of familiarity about it.
Pursuit of Happiness. This is a movie all about personal struggles and it’s a true story. It’s about a man that ends up losing everything he has ever loved in life, only left with himself and his son. He then starts life over again, taking different paths, learning new things about life and himself.
Shawshank Redemption. Not really a business movie but it is a great movie if you want to learn about personal greatness and overcoming some really crappy things that life deals to you.
The Corporation. This is a film about the evil doers in corporations, what you can do to help stop them from taking over other corporations and correcting your morally defunct compass.
