Remembering and Paying Homage to the Victims of the 9/11 Terror Attacks

September 11, 2001, saw the world’s deadliest terror attacks, bringing our nation and the entire world to a standstill. I still remember where I was when I heard the news, as I'm sure is the same with many people. We struggled to find answers, we struggled to find meaning; but at the end of the day, we stood and continue to stand together as the United States of America. We have faced two wars, an economic recession, and political turmoil both at home and abroad, but we managed to stick together to rebuild our nation and show the world just how strong our resolve is.

Today, we need to remember and honor those who died in this terror attacks and pay to send our thoughts and prayers to their friends and family. We also need to honor our brave servicemen and women who have given their lives for the pursuit of freedom, because they have been the bond that has tied our nation together, no matter what side of the political spectrum you're on. We condemn those that have and continue to cowardly attack innocent men, women and children both in those attacks and all around the world. We also should reflect on how far we've come as a nation and how unity, motivation, and commitment has helped us grieve, process and grow.
